CALL FOR SCORES

The International Youth Composers Society is thrilled to announce a unique opportunity for composers worldwide. Showcase your talent and creativity by submitting your original compositions. These "compositions" can range from sentences describing what you would like to write, to full-fledged orchestral arrangements—anything and everything will be accepted, free of charge, and reviewed by experienced judges. Submissions are open until May 7th (the birthday of Johannes Brahms and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky!) at 11:59 PM. Don't hesitate to contact us below (scroll down) with any questions.

PAST EVENTS

January 30th: Manav and Adam taught at P.S. duPont Middle School to band, orchestra, and choir classes of 6th, 7th, and 8th graders about the basics of music composition. They used Happy Birthday to show the significance of playing around with many different musical elements and demonstrated the importance of musical motifs.
